Review on 2.5" to 3.5" Drive Converter: Seamless Internal Solid State Upgrade Solution by Travis Filippi

REVIEW UPDATE: Purchased two of these adapters for two separate systems. My previous review said the adapter was bad. After removing this adapter from the concerned tower. The problem has recurred. There is NO PROBLEM on another system with the same adapter installed. So I'm updating my rating. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I have decided to upgrade the hard drive of an old Dell desktop. I bought a 512GB SSD and this adapter in 4/2020. Less than a month after installation I started having problems with the system not waking up. I would need to do a cold boot (by holding the power button) on the tower. I never had to do this before installing this adapter. I ran a full diagnosis of the car and didn't find a single problem. Finally in 1/2021 I got bored. I bought an SSD Bracket 2.5 to 3.5 Adapter and installed this adapter. IMMEDIATELY the desktop became more responsive and the above problem no longer occurred. Save yourself the headache, DO NOT BUY this adapter.
