This isn't cashmere and to be honest I didn't expect it to be cashmere at this price point. It's a viscose blend which makes it soft and I really like its shade of red, most importantly the red color is safe to wear and won't bleed all over what you wear. I would have liked the label to be sewn on instead of glued on, but that's easily resolved with a quick stitch. I wouldn't call it pashmina either - it's not wide enough for that, but then again - I wasn't expecting that given the size. Long story short I wanted a really nice red scarf and I love viscose because it's soft so this was perfect for me.
