Review on ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Comica CVM-VM20 Super-Cardioid Shotgun Microphone with Adjustable 75/150Hz Low-Cut Filter, Stepless Gain Control, OLED Visualized Power, Built-in Battery - Ideal for DSLR, Vlogging, Podcast Interviews by Curtis Kincade

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The Comica VM20 is a great sounding mic, especially for vlogging or private interviews.

Right out of the box I liked the build quality of the Comica VM 20 mic. The swing mount is solid and the mic fits easily into the mount. Comica always has really good covers for their products. You can also get a USB-C cable, a windscreen, a windscreen, a 3.5mm TRS-TRS cable (camera) and a 3.5mm TRS-TRS cable (cellphone) in the box expect. It should be noted that the windshield is installed directly above the windshield. I was very impressed with the sound quality of this supercardioid gun mic. I've used it for several vlogs and see myself using it for my running and shooting projects. The battery seems to last a long time and retains a charge even when left on. I'm not sure if it goes to sleep and that will save battery life. It has a nice OLED battery indicator so you always know the battery level, and a small blue indicator at the top shows the mic is on. The volume slider is very smooth, but it's easy to switch to a different setting, so be careful. from that. I tend to turn down the internal mic level (in the camera) and let the mic do all the work. It seems to work like this! The only downside to this mic is that when the camera is turned off, the mic doesn't turn off with the camera. Maybe this can be fixed with firmware. So don't forget to turn off your microphone. Below are some pictures of this product. I highly recommend the Comica VM20 mic for both vloggers and shooter fans!
