Nice though. best chairs for home office

chair finally assembled. The hardest part was getting the rear end. It would probably be easier with a second person, but I had to do it alone so it doubled my "fun". I'm not sure about anyone, but that involved pulling a bolt through a hole and finding it and threading it into a hole you can't see and can barely feel (mechanics know the feeling) when using a bolt. Maybe a "slot" to guide the bolt to where the hole is would make it a lot easier. Just one screw took about 3/4 of the time it took to install and I used 2 wood clamps to hold the armrests level, a workbench to prop up the top of the chair and a cigarette to calm my irritated nerves calm. The rest of the installation was much easier. Leaving the bolt on the back a little loose, rotated the arms/back to the side, the wood pushed it so it said it was set and the bottom was snapped into place. It is assumed that you will need 8 short screws to attach the arms and 4 slightly longer screws to hold the back. This is where I encountered my first problem. The 2 holes below/left for the hands are not drilled. I even tore the faux leather a bit to see if the alignment was wrong. I ended up installing the 6 screws I was able to mount for the arms and back and only tightened them after all the screws were in and the bottom was properly aligned. So you have to be careful with your left hand. The rest of the installation went smoothly. After pulling it inward, place the base and plunger on the table, place the top on the ground on the right side, and then tilt the base to make sure the plunger goes into the correct hole. first try. Grabbed the top of the chair and pulled it up. The chair was collected within 3 days and used about 8 hours a day. The seat is quite hard, I hope it will soften over time. The mechanical parts of the chair are also quite rigid. In terms of fit, I'm like a kid sitting in an adult chair. I'm 5ft 10" and about 250 pounds. The problem for me is that I have very broad shoulders, which makes it difficult for me to sit in small chairs. This chair makes my shoulders feel well positioned, but my butt has too much space. A few small throw pillows on either side lessened this effect. my overall picture? Nice chair, except for the undrilled screw holes. Other items will have to wait until the cushions soften (may take a while as I haven't hit the chair's weight limit yet) and the mechanics run smoother.
