Well, I'll start by saying I don't know how these guys did it, but this is hands down the best mattress pad my new husband and I have used. First, a boring comment that many appreciate. For some reason my husband sweats a lot when using mattress pads even though they cost over $400 which is crazy. He "knew" that this cover would not work in any way, but we still needed it as I could go into labor any day. He said he would try for the night and then just lift his side of the bed up so my side would be protected. I told him I put it on a week ago. "What the hell!?" He never noticed and had no issues with overheating. Muahaha! So this is a pro. The second major benefit that some of you can probably guess. Not only was I in labor, but I delivered on that mattress pad, and not a drop of what I missed that day ended up on my husband's ridiculously expensive mattress. It's no better than what I had (just saying). I didn't even stop the bleeding completely and the thing stopped it. I mean, we KNEW we were going to get a new mattress afterwards, but these guys created something magical. Maybe I got the best of the batch naturally, or maybe this year's version was better than another year or next year. However. All I know is that this thing has worked wonders for us. I'm here to buy another one. And oh my god, this set will come back. a whopping $30. Oh I could add a picture but who wants to see that? I apparently folded it and didn't notice. I DID NOT NOTICE. I BIRTHED this thing, and the Gigantor stain wasn't even noticeable. Just crazy! So we kept it. I still put a new one on my bed because I don't know, it's just weird sleeping on something so covered in things. So not sure if this is evidence of a cover or not, maybe I have a good washing machine and detergent.
