This device is not compatible with gigabit devices. With most ISPs (e.g. Verizon FIOS), their router will not bind a 10/100 Mbps connection; it concerns its connection to the ONT. Instead, it doesn't connect at all. There really isn't a solution for this as gigabit networks require all 8 wires to be used. The description should be supplemented with "up to a maximum of 100 megabits per second" (currently it says 100 megabytes, which is ambiguous). An incorrect specification leads to the assumption that 1 GB/s is meant, which is technically not possible over 4 wires.
