I had a little trouble getting the rubber tip into the large opening of the black ink print head, but once I put it on I was able to get through water. Some of my color ink holes were visibly clogged initially, but after a few syringes filled they worked completely with no visible clogs. I haven't installed it back in the printer yet because I want the water to dry. If this product doesn't get my printer working again, it's not the product's fault - it means there's something wrong with the printer. Note. According to internet research, the ink is water soluble and requires no solvent. I'll try thinner if the printer doesn't work, but I don't think that will make a difference. My printhead is QY6-0086 on a Canon MX922 printer. So if you have such a printhead, this product should suit you. Update - The print quality wasn't great at first, but after a few days my printer is working like new!
