Review on πŸ”ͺ DIYSELF 150 PCS Hobby Knife Blades: High Carbon Steel #11 Refill Craft Art Blades with Storage Case by Doris Tran

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Cheap blades have hidden strengths

Blades are good. They are thinner than x-acto's signature blades and don't fit perfectly. Although the fit is close enough. Being skinny actually gives them some flexibility, which I think makes them look better. As a result, the tips do not break as quickly as brand name blades and there is less metal wasted. The flexibility also facilitates curved cuts when cutting paper shapes. In general, being cheap comes with some unintended positive side effects. One thing though: ditch the awful plastic case. Mine won't even snap, so cheap and useless. Does not fit Blades. Don't waste that horribly destructive plastic stuff on something that will be immediately thrown away because it's so poorly made. This is a disgusting practice. Please. I prefer to just wrap them in wax paper and put them in a padlock on top. Otherwise I'm satisfied. I hope this gets me out of the dangerous habit of using dull blades because I'm trying to get another dollar out.
