This is a nice briefcase for the money. My 15 in the MacBookPro *ONLY* fits horizontally in the center compartment. It doesn't fit in a laptop bag, but I just use it for other purposes. It works for me because I currently work from home most of the time and only wear it occasionally. If I had to wear it every day, it probably wouldn't fit me due to a 15 inch laptop. If you're carrying a 13" laptop, this would be a large bag with room for your computer supplies and a few files. I find it difficult to find a computer bag at a modest price that is still durable and attractive to women. This one looks beautiful. I haven't used it much so I can't comment on durability.
