The thing works well for its intended purpose. It's strong enough to provide good support and big enough to give your leg or foot a proper lift. It's not uncomfortable and doesn't seem to retain much heat, making things feel awkward. However, what makes it really good is making a great cat bed. They love the curved contour bodice and how they curl up perfectly in it. since i bought this pillow i have hardly been able to use it as there were always two or three cats nesting in it. Even if I move them and support my foot they come up and squeeze it and try to push it back into the pillow. As I bought this for a broken leg you can see why it may not be perfect. I would say whatever your goal for this product you will be satisfied. And if not, then at least your pets will like it.
