I fully tested one of the two SD cards I received using the f3 command line flash drive test utility installed on my Mac Mini via Homebrew. I used a purchased USB SD card interface. The card and interface have been well tested, with an average write speed of 10.02MB/s, an average read speed of 16.52MB/s and no read/write errors on all available 14.83GB. The full test takes a long time (40 minutes) so I only tested 2GB of space on the second card with similar speed results and no errors. Then I put one of the cards in the Zoom H1n audio recorder, formatted and did a few write cycles, put the card back in the card reader, copied the files to my Mac and listened again. The map I tested worked great in Zoom. At some point in the process, the card was detached from my Mac (while listening to a copy of the file on my hard drive), resulting in a warning of possible data corruption. But none of the data on the card was corrupted; In subsequent tests, it continued to work flawlessly on both the H1n and my Mac. My Mac had many other applications running in the background during this test, so I now consider this to be an atypical event (although it could indicate a minor issue with the USB reader). a very good deal for two reliable class 10 Micro SD cards and a powerful USB card reader.
