We originally bought the pink light as a gift. 4 year old girl loved it. We decided to buy one for our 4 year old son and also for his birthday. He slept with him every night. I read reviews that blue light is terrible for sleep, had no problem waking up. The stars/moon can change color, remain a solid color, or mix 2 colors. I believe they mix red, blue, green etc with white. The lid also dims the brightness if that's what you prefer. There are three buttons that I haven't quite figured out yet so I just press them until they change the color my 4 year old wants haha. *** The light comes with a very short cable only. You need to add a plugin for the wall. You can also buy a longer cable.
