I usually use half a year. I made it a point to read all of the unfavorable reviews. I have arrived at the conclusion that those individuals listened to a fabrication. After making the purchase, I experimented with putting them in several electronic devices, including cell phones (Nokia and Sony), an mp3 player (Samsung), and a laptop, but the outcome was always the same: noise was produced in all of these devices. Imperfections in the apparatus are instantly brought to light. When I heard it for the first time, I had to use a CD player (I found it in a closet). The outcome exceeded my expectations. But, after investing in a Sansa clip + flac player (the apple product is inferior in terms of sound quality), I found myself listening to music with my mouth wide open for the first half an hour. After comparing it to my home monitor Sony (which is a really old model; the monitors are already 8 years old), I decided to donate it to someone who would put it to good use. I do not claim to be an expert, nor have I ever had the chance to evaluate or evaluate high-end audio equipment. To restate, what I've just heard is the very finest I've heard so far.
