Recommended Size for Down Pillow Inserts
Based on other reviews of seams coming apart when trying to darn pillow inserts, I increased the size to 20x20 for my 18x18 pillows which were very fluffy. I'm so glad I did as there was no problem getting the pillows in and they fit perfectly. I was afraid the linen fabric would be too coarse and stiff, but it's not. The fabric is smooth and feels like a linen tablecloth - so not the softest in the world, but not a linen bag at all. I agree with other reviewers that the color is not a true bright red like the photo but more of a rusty burgundy and more muted than the pictures. You can't beat the price and they're perfect for seasonal decorating.
