If you use it in a van, you need to change it. I used a soldering iron to melt the tabs holding the LED board in place. After removing the board, I drilled a hole in the center of the case. I then routed the wires through the new hole and reinstalled the board. You will need to use a soldering iron to attach the board and melt the remaining tabs in place. I used flexible caulking tape cut to size and routed the wires through the center of the wires with tape cones to the power source before attaching the tape to the RV. They are very well made, just a pity that no wire comes out of the middle.
