I took them with me to put in the trunk in case of an emergency on the road. I wanted something compact and light and it fit the bill. They shrink into a small package and expand to a standard cone size. They're very light, so if it gets windy you'll have to weigh them down with a rock or something. You could open the bottom and put something inside. I hope I never have to use them but a breakdown on the pavement is a dangerous place and they will warn drivers in advance.
