This is very soft and absolutely adorable. I can't tell what kind of animal does it supposed to be. It reminds me of a narwhal but then it's got it little horn ears that aren't very unicornish. You can let your kid make up their own mind with this one. I love the idea but there is no way that this is supposed to fit a six to fourteen-year-old. I have a 5-year-old and there is almost an issue with sitting this on her head. You can certainly put it on top of the head and then use it as a scarf but The place where you put your hands are not necessarily going to work the way it's supposed to. It's just too short. I guess if you were sitting in your car seat and put the hat on then you could put your hands in the warm that way but if you have an active child in any outdoor situation is probably isn't going to work. Now three-year-old, may be a different story. Cute concept, very well made but they definitely need to adjust the suggested age.
