Good quality flannel, nice fabric and good stitching. Fits my 9 year old son very well. This is a great layered piece. A real downside is that the two halves of the front are not aligned as you can see in the picture. This creates the impression that the shirt is always buttoned the wrong way. Not sure if every shirt is made this way but it ruins the overall look. Disappointing because otherwise it's a great deal!
