Last weekend I was in Oak Creek Canyon in Sedona, Arizona. It snowed a lot last weekend, so I knew there was going to be a lot of snow, ice, and melting snow. I needed to find waterproof, durable, lightweight boots and they fit perfectly; They were worth every penny spent on them. Water and snow slid off immediately; they keep me from slipping on the ice. They kept my feet relatively dry despite the conditions I was traveling in. I'm a size 8 so I ordered these and they fit me, but if I wanted to wear thicker socks they would be a bit tighter. I wish they had 8.5 maybe even 9, might work although I was comfortable in that and went 5-. mile hike with ease. Definitely recommend them! Us 8 Mid Rise women's waterproof insulated hiking shoes
