I bought a size 6 for my 4 year old daughter first because I was size sensitive and she usually wears a size 6 from other brands. She is 42 inches tall. When it arrived the label said 140 which is the size I bought for my 9 year old last year. I left 6 and also ordered 4T. The label says 130. It fit my 4 year old much better. For reference, I'm sharing a photo of a 4T (left) versus a size 7/8 (middle) and size 6 (right) from another brand. In addition, the product is great! Buttons wobble a bit. The waist has a little elasticity, which is nice. The material is a bit stiff but I'm sure it will soften after washing. My daughter loves this! I plan to keep the larger size for next year.
