How can I be sure that these shoes will break in? We don't wear shoes at home so last October I bought two pairs to put on quickly, one on the front door, one on the back door. A pair of back doors are in shadow, so they've shrunk just a bit. A pair of front doors receive sun around the clock. They've shrunk by about half! Direct sunlight is obviously the cause. In addition, they are flexible and convenient. Maybe too flexible. They don't hold their shape well, so they tend to roll over when I walk sideways on a steep incline. All in all not a good buy.
