This didn't adhere to My fabric-feel vinyl sleeping mat

I needed to patch a hole in a self-inflating sleeping pad and this would simply not adhere sufficiently. It's still attached, but air finds a small channel out of which to leak. I will be trying layering them, but I'm not optimistic. The material is vinyl, but it has a fabric-like feel, almost like it's suede vs. leather.
