These nipples are great! They fit any standard baby bottle (e.g. Medela, Life Factory Glass, etc.). I've been using them since my baby was born and he likes them more than any other pacifier because they have a rubbery texture that looks like a pacifier. Breast. We've been using them to give expressed breast milk since day one. Sometimes the baby had some confusion of the nipples with the breast, but not much. We started with the SLOW flow version of these teats and then switched to the STANDARD flow version about 3-1/2 months later. Look at the photo I posted of two nipples side by side in comparison - left is slow flow and right is normal flow. They are made of the same material and have a small hole in the tip, while the standard thread has an extra cross grind in addition to the small hole. Below is the flow rate of these teats compared to some other brands (determined by simply holding them upside down with water in them): Similac Slow Flow - 1 drop every 5 seconds Similac Standard Flow - 10 drops every 5 seconds Medela Slow Flow - 10 drops every 5 seconds Medela Medium Flow - 25 drops every 5 seconds Life Factory Level 1 Slow Flow - 2 drops every 5 seconds One more note: as other reviewers have said, while these teats are intended for single use, they can definitely be reused be used if gently hand washed in warm water (they definitely will NOT withstand very hot water, boiling or steam sterilization). . I use them about a dozen times before throwing them away or until they start to discolor.
