Review on Upgraded Titanium Heatbreak Thermal Printer by Nick Kirschenmann

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I have stored my MINI in 3D printer supplies

which I bought about a month ago. I had no traffic jams or crawling problems. After weeks of fiddling around and trying a different hotend and extruder to no avail, I stumbled across this thermal break and decided to give it a try. Thermal paste, and since then my mini hasn't been sticking anymore. I use 1.75m of standard PTFE tubing from the extruder for the thermal break with no bevel. If you look at the CAD drawing you will see a flat area in front of the neck, this is where the PTFE tubing is located and no chamfer is required for this. I believe this is at the root of the installation issues that other reviewers had, along with the stock Prusas PTFE hose, which appears to be smaller in diameter than the stock hose. ndard 1.75 m Teflon hose. This throat saved my sanity and my mini, I just bought a second 2 pack as a backup.
