I should have known these aren't genuine New Balance shoes just from the Color; New Balance almost never uses bright neon colors in its product line. However, they looked almost exactly like my previous pair of women's New Balance Fresh Foam Hierro V3 trail running shoes in the picture in terms of construction and structure. When I received them the only visual differences I could tell between my previous, favorite and worn pair were: 1. They have a smaller stripe on the back than the original, 2. The laces just seem to be different. They feel thinner and don't look like other New Balance laces. However, the real difference between them and the real women's New Balance Fresh Foam Hierro V3 trail running shoes became apparent when I ran 4 miles: My left toe hit the shoe a couple of times. the front of the shoe throughout the run. I could also clearly feel the pavement pushing my left foot through the boot. At the end of the run, my leg could hardly stand it and I was in pain for several days. I returned them and bought a pair of Hierro V5s from my local sneaker shop. They had plenty of toe room, like my original V3s, and cushioned my ride well. I do not recommend buying these New Balance sneakers anywhere other than the New Balance website or a real sneaker shop. $136 is a lot of money for a crappy fake that can't be identified until you've driven it 4 miles. Revain accepted the return but they transferred my money to a gift card I couldn't find so I still don't have $136 for those crappy shoes.
