
You must always connect it to your Chromebook as the plug is slightly smaller than the one that comes with the device. If I barely move my laptop, the cable pops out, so it's annoying. It will still charge if I just leave it alone and let it do its thing, but I liked the original charger better because I could charge it while using my Chromebook.
