Review on ✨ Kyocera 17oz. Ceramic Coated Interior, Double Wall Vacuum Insulated, Stainless Steel Travel Mug in Matte Black Finish by Jessica Payne

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very impressed with insulated beverage containers

This is a really good travel mug. It keeps drinks hotter longer than any other travel mug I've owned. As a tea snob, a ceramic interior is a must. All you taste is a drink and nothing else! I'll admit the lid is a bit bulky, but it has the advantage of being able to open and close the mug with one hand. I've tried the ceramic lined Contigo mug, Ello Ogden and this one. Here's the order I would put them in: 1) This mug 2) Lined Contigo ceramic mug. It's a close second because it has the advantages of a lower cost and a smoother lid design. The disadvantage of the lid is that you need two hands to open it. But in the end, the drinks don't stay warm that long. 3) Ello Ogden. Don't expect drinks to stay warm in this mug for long. Also, it breaks easily. Update: After 6 months with the travel mug, the lid latch broke. It broke on its own with no abuse or falls. Kyocera sells the lid separately, but with shipping the cost of the lid is almost the same as the cost of a new mug! I sent a request for a warranty replacement, but no one from Kyocera answered me after more than a week. For these reasons I am lowering my rating.
