While the Model 3 glass roof can be a great addition to make the car appear more spacious than it actually is, it has one more attribute: You can get sunburned. the top of your head (especially if you are bald!). While I love and drive my Model 3, I definitely don't want to be scratching my head all the time. Summer in Chicago is notorious for the bright sun, which causes too many sunburns. I had an earlier version of this and it reduced the amount of sunlight to a noticeable level. However, the glass still felt hot. In this version, it resembles an IR tint and reduces the temperature of the glass and the amount of sunlight entering the car. I think it's a great addition that makes long rides during the day more bearable.
