I needed a mouse pad but was looking for something more than small square mats. It gives the table a beautiful look and is easy to clean, just shake off the crumbs and you're done! My only concern is how they package it. It comes rolled up so the last 4 inches has a curl that doesn't lay completely flat. It gets better with time but it kills my OCD. I'm sure there is a way to correct this, but it's not even a big problem to contend with. In addition, you can use a world map to refresh the position of places.
