I'm an astrophotographer, which means my USB cables are out all night in freezing temperatures, getting dewy and exposed to all kinds of weather. The cables that came with my camera and conductor (cheap "standard") broke after a few months. I received these JSAUX cables to replace. From anodized aluminum attachment points to generous strain relief, from braided covers to gold-plated contacts, these cables are built with quality, quality and more quality in mind. They fit securely into USB ports/jacks instead of dangling around like so many cables (makes you wonder how well connected they are). They're a bit stiff but bendable (great for long/complicated and bundled cable runs, like mine from telescopes and cameras to the mount and to the computer). They ignore the dewy nights instead of letting the dew run down the cable like plastic-coated cables do. I can't honestly vouch for the longevity yet (they only lasted a few nights) but I can vouch for the quality and value. This is a luxury USB cable machine. I love her.
