I saw some people in the reviews that it ran small so I ordered a size up. I'm so glad I did. I usually go for medium and the large size is a lot tighter than I expected. I'll keep it because I can get it to work, but thought it would be a lot roomier than it is. It fits like a long sleeve swimsuit top and not like a baggy t-shirt as the picture shows. The fabric has a thick feel, so it's good for a spring swim. But to be honest I would return and buy the X-Large size which I never wear if I don't need it in 2 days.
