This is a full size toothbrush with extra features. The spring-loaded head prevents severe abrasion of teeth and gums. The longer bristles at the end help reach the back area. They also have soft bristles recommended by dentists. The handle feels good in my hand, but I usually use my fingers to roll the toothbrush back and forth over my teeth. I love how it works and there's plenty of room for a dab of toothpaste. Be careful, this is a life size toothbrush. I don't really like smaller sizes, but I understand that small brushes are better for the back. I use this in conjunction with a mechanical (aka electric) toothbrush to get into places an electric toothbrush can't. Contact your dentist if you have any questions.
