Review on Inval America 4 Drawer Storage and Filing Cabinet by Steve Fields

Summary: This is the worst piece of furniture I have ever owned. Details: An assembly nightmare at first. and the instructions are poorly written - lots of trial and error. The product was garbage outside of the packaging; Several pieces of pressed cardboard were torn on arrival, two pieces were not properly machined and what should have been the incised grooves almost fell off. The metal rails of the drawers were already bent in several pieces. However, the whole day was wasted, and this thing is properly assembled. At once she doesn't work and talks about something. This is a dresser. When drawers open and close, it works. Even with correct assembly, the boxes are constantly jammed. The locking mechanism does not work. The next day I had to rip off the handles set into the sides of the drawer as they would snag even when the unit was "unlocked" making it useless for storing sensitive items. I thought I had a tolerable but far from advertised dresser. Then maybe the 4th or 5th time I opened the top drawer the front of the drawer fell off so I had to reassemble the drawer. Since then I have disassembled and reassembled the box twice more. I keep a Phillips screwdriver in my drawer and tighten the screws every time I open them. The only way to open the drawer is to pull it partially out while supporting the bottom, reach to the back of the drawer and manually hold it together to open it fully. There are no snapped screws and I have not deformed them. or anything cracked other than what was broken on arrival. This part is assembled according to the instructions. It's just so inferior that it literally falls apart on day one. I pour a copious amount of wood glue into all the joints that need to be held together with the included screws to keep this thing working until I have time to buy something better. . And then the thing hits the curb.
