As stated in the description, this material is too heavy to seal on a cheap board. Every first starting review comes from someone trying to seal food with a food preserver. Although the description clearly says they don't work. If you have a real vacuum sealer (I have a Weston 2300) this stuff is definitely sturdy and sucks/seals great. This is my favorite material for long-term work.
