Works well but is difficult to remove from packaging and adhesive

A pair of bulbs are supplied shrink wrapped and have a cardboard backing to hang for display in a store. The shrink wrap fits the onions very snugly; I had to use a knife to remove them from the shrink wrap. The shrink wrap was attached to the bulbs so tightly that the two power pins at the end of each bulb were difficult to remove from the shrink wrap. When you remove the shrink wrap, you can easily scratch or cut the bulb, so be careful. But there is more. After I managed to remove the shrink wrap from the lamps, they were glued to the cardboard base with what can only be hot glue. . The glue stuck to the bulbs so well that again I had to use a knife to scrape the excess glue off the bulbs and I don't think I'll get it all the way off. These bulbs (at least the ones I received) are made in China for a company in Greensboro, NC. Each lamp is marked 'LF8 T5/CW TCLP Compliant'. The box says '54880 Bulb F8T5 8 Watt 12' 'Would I buy it again? Yes, they work and are inexpensive. I wish they were easier to take out of the packaging with the lamp.

Pros

Cons
