Review on 🚿 Amazon Basics AMZN-WSH-C125: Chrome Wall Mount Showerhead Water Filtration System – Culligan WSH-C125 Equivalent by Ellen Chase

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The filter causes two problems - constant dripping and poor flow

As you might expect, the filter reduces the water pressure. Note that some reviews suggest removing the flow restrictor. However, with my October 2020 showerhead, it does not need to be removed. Another review suggests a change in federal law no longer allows for removable restraints, which I suspect. The water pressure in my house is around 70-75 psi which is great for most. I found the water pressure through this shower head to be barely adequate. You cannot remove the filter as the head relies on the filter o-rings to seal. Constant dripping is worse than negative pressure. The filter holds water and this water runs off very slowly during the day. The shower floor is constantly wet. As a result, the amount of mold and fungus increases. In my opinion, this effectively renders the shower head unusable. The click system rotates well enough, but I feel like it takes two hands to do it. And to be honest, I had a hard time distinguishing some of the five flow patterns. Great concept, bad execution. If you absolutely need a skin health filter, it's worth a try, otherwise most likely not.
