Then you need to download the app and it's pretty easy to do. and to connect the transmitter to the application. The range on my phone was pretty good, with no lag or distorted screen cubes, and the sound was great too. When I connected the receiver to my monitor I had a bit of lag and interference but I changed the channel and it got better. The signal is pretty strong. Cons: The fan isn't that loud, which is good, but after 20 minutes of use the devices got quite hot, I didn't like that, but I can live with that as I won't be using it for long of time. Has HDMI and SDI output, I used HDMI and it works fine. There are mounting holes on the horizontal and vertical sides, so that's a plus. The battery used was pretty good, I shot for an hour and I wasn't out of breath so that was good. Overall great for phones and other devices, for YouTube, photo browsing and small jobs are GREAT but for big shoots and directing and monitoring big pro gigs I wouldn't use it just for the heat issues. The price is quite justified and the product is reliable, so that doesn't bother me.
