New weighted blanket in our house. This is for my mother who has been living with Alzheimer's for many years. Now she has to stay in bed all the time. Recently, an occupational therapist who helped with physical issues recommended using a weighted blanket, especially during times when mom is clearly stressed. So far this heavy blanket had comforted her. I haven't used it during night sleeps but during the day when she gets very restless at times. I am very happy with the results so far.
