I wasn't sure I would like these gloves after opening them. The "springy" were just rubber bands that I cut off. The sleeves are made from the same material that cheap shower curtains are made from. The rubber in the gloves is big but once I put them on and used them everything was fine. The sleeves cover most of my arm when I'm washing dishes, the rubber gloves work well despite being large for my hands, and the cotton glove in the rubber gloves is very comfortable. You are strong too.
