Easy to assemble - very similar to the original

This is a pretty decent approximation of the Saarinen Tulip Side Chair. I have a real vintage Tulip chair that I bought from a dealer. It was in terrible condition and it shouldn't have been repaired and sold &lt;- only point is I have something to compare it to. LexMod is very nice. ABS chair part, really shiny and smooth. The original is clearly not plastic, especially where it has rips and cracks. The LexMod's tulip stem is thicker than the original and the spine is wider. Also, it is much more convenient than the original. You won't fool anyone with it, but it's beautiful, comfortable, and appropriate for a modern kitchen or dining room. Conclusion: I like it. My husband decides if he wants another &lt;- kudos as he never likes to spend money lol.
