We received two rescued kittens who were very small and abandoned when we received them. They could walk and drink from a bowl and have been doing and developing very well over the past few weeks. When they arrived they needed a little help with the litter but I guess it's partly instinctive so they got it in about a week. They're still fairly young, but introduced it to them to (hopefully) teach them how to use it over time. It was easy to install in our basement bathroom (where their filler is which they use all the time). Because they are so young I still give birth to litters (plus we have an adult cat that I don't want to train with). this.) They learn it, but they don't use it very often yet. I think I need to be more active in their training and I will do that once they are a bit older and more able to control jumps and things like that. I think starting as early as possible (within reason) will be more successful than starting with an adult cat.
