I bought this based on an energy assessment I had done for my home. The price seemed good to me. I have a 1600 square foot house and I only used 1/2 cardboard. I didn't install them on all of my internal dowels. I did this for 3 bedrooms hoping it would help reduce the noise. I have no idea if they will improve my electric bill as I have had other efficiency measures such as B. new insulation in my attic. They were easy to install, you just have to be careful and take your time to cut out the unwanted sections of foam. The template is very helpful and has measurements for all my plugs except my cable, but that's not really a problem, I just made the hole myself. All you have to do is unscrew the wall bracket, place the spacer on the plate and screw the plate back on.
