I have no complaints other than having to plug in the flashlight but for it to be compact and well stored I can't complain too much about the lack of a portable battery but... if you need it there can be another light suitable. I love this light. I can work with someone using a tripod or light stand to hold it. When you put it all together it becomes very strong. The fact that LED panels will curl worries me as I don't want to ruin such an expensive light, but I've used it a few times and am less worried now that it won't work. The light comes with a control which is the only way to increase or decrease the brightness level, which is both good and bad. Good because the controls give me the opportunity to change them very conveniently, but also bad because I'm afraid of losing the remote control, without it I wouldn't know how to change the brightness. Otherwise that would be my only complaint. The light becomes very bright, but does not heat up at all even after long-term use. The light creates a great fill light and is really great for my photographic needs. Sometimes I need to go outside and work, but I still need to install some bright lights where I need to work and that's just to illuminate the area I'm working on. Certainly not what it was designed for, but it serves its purpose perfectly. I could imagine getting a second light because it's a reliably bright light. It doesn't take long to set up, I have an accelerated video of about two minutes. The more times you disassemble and reassemble it, the faster you'll get there. If I ever had a real studio, I would just always leave it. But to make room, it collapses quite a bit. It was a great purchase!
