Assembling, while not difficult, took longer than expected, but only because it was so tedious to tighten the screws. many hex screws. The Allen key that came with it doesn't fit in places, so you can only turn the screw 1/4 turn at a time, which can take a long time. I think 75% of the assembly time was spent tediously screwing in the hex head screws. If you have a decent hex wrench tool (I didn't have) you can use that and save time. Although the instructions don't call for it, I also added Gorilla Wood Glue to most of the screw holes and joints. Points. It's probably not necessary, but I suspect these types of hex bolts inherently loosen over time. Maybe glue would help with this and also reduce the likelihood of squeaking. If you do this, immediately wipe away any excess glue from the wood, being careful not to get any drips on the fabric parts of the seat. The rotating movement of the chair is very smooth and smooth. The position of the legrests seems perfect. Overall I find them comfortable, although the back is too straight for my liking. Although it's not a big problem.
