initial review April 8, 2021 We have been using magnetic mounts in our cars for several years. I also have one on my computer desk. We found this to be the easiest way as we can simply attach the phone to the mount. Just eject when the disc is done. When our phones need to be charged, we use magnetic cables that only take a few seconds to connect. The advantage of using a cable instead of a wireless charger is that the phone can be held and used while charging. Our three other magnetic mounts are round, strong and tiltable. This flat cell holder takes up less space and can be easily installed in tight spots where our round ones won't work. The magnets are strong enough to hold your phone vertically or horizontally. There are two things to keep in mind when using magnetic holders. 1) A metal disc needs to be pasted on the phone or phone case. We put a metal plate inside the case so they are not visible. 2) The position of the metal plate/disc on the back of the phone may interfere with wireless chargers. We don't mind because we gave up wireless chargers a long time ago. Your case may be different. I recommend these magnetic holders.
