Review on Deuter XV Backpack Navy Midnight Backpacks in Casual Daypacks by Jamie Mason

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Construction seems great and very solid

PRO: Arrived on time, color as shown although some people might think the darker color is more of a brown. The construction looks great and is very solid. The flower is a nice gesture and I leave it on. The backpack should last for many years and I'm sure it will be just what someone is looking for. CONS: I'm 4'11 and still working on adjusting the straps for a comfortable fit. The hip belt is "removable" and is attached with Velcro. It's ridiculously difficult to put on and take off. I can't say much about the ventilation system on the back. It feels like I have two hard vertical strips on my back that allow airflow or just keep most of the pack off my back so it doesn't sweat as much. From the picture it looks like it will take a beating. In real life it was smaller than I expected. My laptop just fits in an inside pocket. I usually pack my computer in a padded case and then into my Columbia backpack which I've used for over a decade (and it still looks good, just thought I'd try something new). I don't think so, but like I said, this might be just what someone else is looking for.

Pros
  • Backpacks
Cons
  • Difficult to remember but it was
