I love looking at STEM toys. This robot is just one of many Design & Drill products from Educational Insights. It's a lot more fun than it looks in the box. Colorful tools and details, including stickers, are hidden behind the packaging. I decided to let my son do it on his own without trying to line up each sticker perfectly or deciding where to place each piece and he was very happy to do it himself. He told my husband that "he was naked when he arrived” and showed him everything he had created, what he could spin etc. The funny thing was that he mentioned "and he doesn't even need batteries so it will not work."die!" Definitely a creative toy that is good for fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Not sure if the screwdriver is specifically designed to fall apart, but ours is, be careful not to lose any part of it!
