Duvet in cover good for me

This is my first review I have wrote for something off ebay. I figured with all my new bedding I would finally write something.I bought the queen size white duvet to go in a new cover I bought. This was the first duvet I had ever bought so I wasn't quite sure the difference between that and a comforter. It looks just like one, but white. It came in a nice vaccumed bag and recommended to lay it out flat for 24-48 hours before use. When it was opened I noticed it was really soft, I would use it without a cover if it wasn't white. It also didn't have any smell to it so I didn't feel like it was stuck up in some warehouse. It also has nice "straps" on the corners to tie your cover on, as well as loops for buttons on all the sides. My cover only has ties for the corners and no extra buttons for the sides but it has still stayed in place great with just corners tied. One thing is some of the reviews say the queen size is bigger than a normal queen but it does have a little extra room in my cover which is an overside queen cover. So I would say the queen size is exactly a queen, no bigger.Overall it is fluffy but not over welming, and has some weight to it. If you don't like having a blanket lay down flat on you at night I would not recommend it. However if you like when a blanket lays thick and does hold a lot of air this is it. I think the weight/fluffy is my favorite part since I don't have to worry about it falling to one side or the other at night when we move around.

Pros
  • Breathable for a comfortable sleep
Cons
  • May not keep its shape after repeated use
