Review on Sony HDR-CX220E Silver Video Camera by Wiktor Uhlig ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I³'m satisfied with the product, it³'s well made and the price is also satisfying.

When compared to similarly priced choices from Canon and Panasonic, it just cannot be beaten. (+/- 20$). has some benefits Small in size, uses little power, captures high-quality images and video, and can be charged with the included USB cord. The wind noise reduction feature contributes to the high quality of the audio recordings. Effective image stabilization. Even at night, the image is clear thanks to the camera's high sensitivity to light and low noise. Distinct drawbacks: The camera's display is subpar; it has color (temperature) distortion, a narrow field of view, and "blinds" in direct sunlight. It'll take you a while to get used to the navigation, which is just as bad as the menu. When the camera is in communication mode, it does not require a power source to operate. The in-camera "editing" software leaves a lot to be desired; in fact, I'd argue that it's unnecessary. Chromatic distortions are noticeable even at a modest magnification. There will be an obvious overbalance toward the battery side if you use a small tripod or frame mount since the tripod mount thread is too far from the optics. When the LCD screen is covered, the camera will not take pictures or record video. We didn't pack a flashlight so you can't shoot at night.

Convenient small, I shoot in FullHD and then I transfer it to an external hard drive.

With its pros. The quality is excellent, there is a photo mode. Its cons: There is no flash, no AV cable included, you can’t set the shooting date, the battery is weak.
