Works as an OEM power cable.
My husband accidentally stepped on an OEM HP Envy x360 power cord and the grounding element broke off the plug. I bought this cable as a replacement. That works fine. Fits snugly in the connection cube and works like the original. I figured I'd have to spend a fortune on a brand new power supply, but a friend told me that I only need a socket as it's just a plug that gets stepped on. Luckily he was right and it quickly got me back to work. Very happy with it.
